Accompanying the article, I participated in a show at the incredible nakedcity gallery in downtown Wichita, sharing the space with Shawn Bitters and Jennifer Jarnot.

Amber Vanhatala Stene, Jodi Lightner and Emily Brookover

Excerpt taken from Delmar Riney Gallery website: The first art exhibit of Spring semester will open Tuesday, January 12, in the Delmar Riney Gallery at Pratt Community College. This drawing exhibit is titled West of Wichita and will be on display from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until January 29.

West of Wichita showcases three artists’ approach to drawing as a method of delineation. Through the act of drawing these artists examine the unique relationships and connections that comprise our lives.
